The Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, is hosting a unique art exhibition that uses aircraft and aircraft parts as the canvas. Called <i>Round Trip: Art From The Bone Yard Project,</i> the exhibition includes work by more than thirty artists on aircraft parts, such as nose cones, and also includes five works painted on entire aircraft, such as this VC-140 JetStar. The aircraft and parts were culled from the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at neighboring Davis-Monthan AFB. The idea to use aircraft as the medium was originally conceived by Long Island, New York, gallery owner Eric Firestone. The JetStar art, called Spy Tiger, was painted by street artist Andrew Schoultz. The exhibition will continue until 31 May.
