The F-35 program logged its 200th test flight on 5 May 2010, when F-35 lead STOVL Pilot Graham Tomlinson took off in a short takeoff/vertical landing F-35B and flew for forty-four minutes near NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. He evaluated airframe loads during powered approach with the landing gear down, and cycling the gear at different speeds and g loads.
