A US Air Force crew ferried the latest HC-130J Combat King II personnel recovery aircraft from the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, on 3 April 2013. This aircraft (Air Force serial number 11-5719) is the ninth of fifteen HC-130Js currently scheduled for delivery to the US Air Force. This is the seventh HC-130J to be assigned to the 463rd Rescue Group, which operates from both Moody AFB, Georgia, and Davis-Monthan. HC-130Js are also based at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
