The first C-130J, nicknamed Pride of Abilene, is the first of twenty-eight longer fuselage Super Hercules that will be delivered to the group’s two flying squadrons through early 2013.

Canada’s first CC-130J Super Hercules was delivered on 4 June 2010. 436 Squadron's goal is to have an aircraft and crew in theater by January 2011.
