Weapons loaders from the 20th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, deployed to Kusan AB, South Korea, from Shaw AFB, South Carolina, arm F-16 Fighting Falcons during a Peninsula Operational Readiness Exercise on 31 January 2012. In addition to the more than 2,000 permanently assigned US Airmen at Kunsan, the base also relies on theater security packages deployed from across the Air Force. These rotational packages effectively form the 8th Fighter Wing’s third fighter squadron, along with the Wolf Pack's permanently-assigned 35th and 80th Fighter Squadrons.
