Col. Srit Vuteerapon became the first pilot of the Royal Thai Air Force to surpass 3,000 hours of flying time in the F-16. He reached this milestone on 28 July 2011 during a surface attack tactics training mission from Takhli Air Base, where he is the deputy base commander. Vuteerapon graduated from the RTAF Flying Training School in March of 1991, and began flying F-5A/B/E aircraft. He transitioned to the F-16 in 1993 as a member of Squadron 103 at Wing 1 at Korat Air Base. He moved to Squadron 403 of Wing 4 at Takhli in 1995.
