The four aircraft that will complete Canada’s current order for seventeen Super Hercules transports are nearing the end of the production line at the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, on 8 November 2011. These aircraft, designated CC-130J in Canada, will be delivered in the first half of 2012. The final delivery is scheduled for June 2012. Canada’s CC-130J fleet has already been flown operationally for a wide range of missions including the support of deployed forces, emergency evacuation, and search and rescue.
